PLATYPUS AUSTRALIA RETURNS AND EXCHANGES POLICY
Platypus Australia gladly accepts returns within 14 business days from the date of purchase. Our policies on this website relate only to products that have been purchased from our online store (www.platypusaustralia.com).
Any item that has been purchased elsewhere must be taken back to the store/e-retailer of original purchase. This includes all faulty returns.
We understand that choosing the right size can be difficult. Please check out our Sizing Guide to help you purchase the correct size. If you have a sizing question or query, please email us at [email protected].
All goods exchanged must be returned to us in its Original Condition. The item(s) must:
- be undamaged and unstained
- have all original labels & product swing tags attached
- be in its original packaging and in new condition
- have the hygiene strip still intact for all bottoms (excluding Boys Swim Shorts and Trim Boardshorts)
- be returned in accordance with the Return Instructions below.
If returned goods do not meet the above criteria, a refund will be declined.
Should stock be no longer available for exchange, we will provide you with a refund via your original method of purchase. Refunds will be issued for the purchase price of the returned item on the original receipt.
Platypus Australia will cover the costs of shipping for a return where the item was sent incorrectly by us or if the item is faulty. We will not refund postage costs for products returned for change-of-mind.
EXCEPTION for purchases during SALE periods
During SALE periods, we will only offer an EXCHANGE for sale items, provided they are returned within 14 business days and are in its Original Condition. There are no refunds for change-of-mind on items purchased during our Sale periods.
Return of faulty goods purchased from our website
Australia Platypus is committed to providing you with quality products. In line with the Trade Practices Act, we will provide you with an exchange or refund if the product you purchase is faulty or different to that shown or described on our website. Refunds will be credited against your original method of purchase. To return faulty goods, please follow Platypus Australia Returns Instructions below.
To return your product and obtain a refund, please follow these simple steps:
- Please fill in Return Form you received with your order.
- Return the item(s) in the Original Condition as detailed above.
- Please note goods returned must be sent using a traceable method. Platypus Australia takes no responsibility until the goods are delivered to the return addresses listed below.
- Once we receive your returned goods, our Returns Team will inspect all returns within 2 business days to ensure they are in an undamaged condition
- After the returned goods are approved, the refund/exchange will be processed within 2 business days. We will inform you via email.
