MISSION

HISTORY
Platypus Australia was formed in 1996 by two mothers who had first hand experience with applying sun-screen lotion to kids-on-the move! They realized that there was a demand for kids bathing suits and rash guard clothing that would protect children from the sun's damaging rays and still be comfortable and cool.
Since 1996 Platypus Australia has grown rapidly in the UK and is now expanding in Europe, Asia and the US market. Platypus Australia is internationally acclaimed and was featured in the UK Junior Magazine, "Wish you were here" travel show on UK television, London Science Museum's exhibition on "Sun and Radiation" and numerous UK daily and weekly magazines.
Today, Platypus Australia continues to serve the high demand in UV protective clothing and swimwear.
